Israel's national memorial to the Six Million murdered by the Nazis during the Holocaust. You'll see powerful sculptures and monuments built to preserve their memories, walk through the haunting Children's Memorial, and better understand how this terrible event could have happened.

Over 23,000 soldiers have died to establish and maintain the Jewish people's national homeland. As you visit Mt. Herzl and other memorials around the country, you'll learn their heroic stories, and better appreciate the sacrifices they made.

Synagogue architecture and decorations have dramatically changed over the centuries. Starting in the 1st century, and into the 5th century, we'll visit four different synagogues, including Masada and Hamat Tiberias (where you'll see a decoration you would NEVER imagine you'd find in a synagogue!).

The first city captured by the Israelites after crossing into the Promised Land. See the view Joshua's spies would have had from their hiding place in the mountains, and see where the Israelites crossed the Jordan River.

One of the major centers of Jewish life after the destruction of the Second Temple, Tzippori was the home of Rabbi Judah the Prince, compiler of the Mishna. You'll visit the Roman-era city, an elegant mansion with a beautiful mosaic floor, a magnificent fifth-century synagogue, and more.

In 70 CE, the Romans destroyed the Second Temple. Three years later, thousands of their troops arrived at Masada, an isolated fortress deep in the Judean Wilderness, built by King Herod. Heavily outnumbered, a few hundred Jews fought back against them. After ascending via cable car, you'll visit one of the most famous sites in Israel and in Jewish history.
