    Temple Mount

    The site of the first two Jewish Temples, the Temple Mount is the holiest place in the world for the Jewish people. See what it used to look like when Jews would come to serve God for nearly 900 years, and what it looks like today, with the Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

    Jewish Quarter

    From a First Temple wall which saved western civilization, to the Byzantine-era market street, to the restored Hurva Synagogue, to the spot where Jewish forces surrendered to the Jordanians in May 1948, the Jewish Quarter is packed with history.

    October 7

    From the Nova Festival, to the Sderot police station, to the field of the burned cars, and other sites, you'll walk in the footsteps of the events of October 7, 2023. Meet some of the heroes of that terrible day, as they tried to save as many innocent lives as possible.

    Yom Yerushalayim

    From 1948-1967, Jerusalem was a divided city between Israel and Jordan. During the 1967 Six Day War, Israel unified the city, and it has been open to all visitors since. You'll visit notable locations along the former border line, and better understand what we're celebrating on Yom Yerushalayim.

    Hebron

    One of Judaism's four holy cities, Hebron is where the Jewish people's Founding Fathers and Mothers are buried. King David established his first capital here. You'll visit the site of ancient Hebron, and the Cave of Machpeilah.

    David vs. Goliath

    In the narrow Elah Valley, a young shepherd named David slew the giant Goliath. You'll see the valley from overlook points, and walk into the riverbed where David chose his five stones which he used to take down the Philistine warrior.

    Yad Vashem

    Israel's national memorial to the Six Million murdered by the Nazis during the Holocaust. You'll see powerful sculptures and monuments built to preserve their memories, walk through the haunting Children's Memorial, and better understand how this terrible event could have happened.

    Yom HaAtzma'ut

    After nearly 1,900 years of exile, the Jewish people declared their independent country on May 14, 1948. Learn about the events which led to this incredible moment, walk into Independence Hall, and visit sites where brave soldiers fought and died in order to ensure the re-establishment of the Jewish state.

  • 09.

    Yom HaZikaron

    Over 23,000 soldiers have died to establish and maintain the Jewish people's national homeland. As you visit Mt. Herzl and other memorials around the country, you'll learn their heroic stories, and better appreciate the sacrifices they made.

  • 10.

    Knesset/Supreme Court

    Israel's Parliament and highest court pass and interpret laws which affect the lives of over 10 million citizens. You'll learn how the Israeli coalition government system works, how justices are selected, and some of the most important cases before the Court. Then you'll go through thousands of years of Jewish history via the beautiful sculptures carved into the majestic Knesset Menorah.

    Ancient Synagogues

    Synagogue architecture and decorations have dramatically changed over the centuries. Starting in the 1st century, and into the 5th century, we'll visit four different synagogues, including Masada and Hamat Tiberias (where you'll see a decoration you would NEVER imagine you'd find in a synagogue!).

  • 12.

    Battle of Jericho

    The first city captured by the Israelites after crossing into the Promised Land. See the view Joshua's spies would have had from their hiding place in the mountains, and see where the Israelites crossed the Jordan River.

  • 13.

    Masada

    In 70 CE, the Romans destroyed the Second Temple. Three years later, thousands of their troops arrived at Masada, an isolated fortress deep in the Judean Wilderness, built by King Herod. Heavily outnumbered, a few hundred Jews fought back against them. After ascending via cable car, you'll visit one of the most famous sites in Israel and in Jewish history.

  • 14.

    Tzippori

    One of the major centers of Jewish life after the destruction of the Second Temple, Tzippori was the home of Rabbi Judah the Prince, compiler of the Mishna. You'll visit the Roman-era city, an elegant mansion with a beautiful mosaic floor, a magnificent fifth-century synagogue, and more.
